| Bridge | The Bridge features a highly functional circular layout for ease of communication and includes specialized workstations. | ||
| Main Engineering | Engineering is the hub for all maintenance and repair activities; it is, for the most part, the primary duty station of the Chief Engineer. However, there is also a bridge station set aside for Engineering. | ||
| Sickbay | The Medical Complex, known as "Sickbay" throughout Starfleet, is also called the Dispenssary or Medbay. Sickbay provides medical care to the members of the crew and any others who are aboard. It is also where the office for the Chief Medical Officer is located. NOTE: The CMO acts as an informal counselor to the crew. |

| Science | Sciences division specializes in sensors, research, theoretical and physical laboratory work, biological studies, as well as medical staff such as technicians, nurses, medics, nurses, and surgeons. | ||
| Conference Room | Suite of rooms used for meetings and other gatherings. | ||
| Arboretum | Arboretum is a botanic garden that is both an area for scientific research as well as a recreation area where members of the crew can relax. The biology lab maintains the wide variety of plants in the arboretum. | ||
| Captain's Quarters | Sometimes referred to as a 'cabin', the Captain's Quarters are somewhat similar to VIP quarters on board the ship. | ||
| Officers' Quarters | Officers are given private quarters with the First Officer's quarters being larger overall in size than those of Senior Staff though both have a living area as well as a bedroom and full bathroom. Junior Officers' quarters are also private but lack the full seating area. | ||
| Enlisted Quarters | Enlisted share bunkrooms separated according to ranks (crewman vs. petty officers) with communal sonic showers and bathrooms. | ||
| Captain's Ready Room | Personal office reserved for the commanding officer of the starship that is accessed from the Bridge. Useful for administrative work without interfering with bridge operations while having instant access to the Bridge if needed. Also required for private discussions and/or the receipt of classified communications. | ||
| Chapel | Location on the ship used to accommodate religious traditions of all faiths on all Federation worlds. Secular events such as weddings and funerals could also be performed here. Requires reservation of the space with the Bridge. | ||
| Gymnasium/Running Track | An area of the ship dedicated to physical fitness and exercise. All crew members are expected to meet required standards and can be ordered by the CMO to conform through diet and exercise to those standards. Yearly testing is required. The Gymnasium extends upward an additional deck to incorporate an indoor running track. | ||
| Shuttlebay | Previously called the Flight Deck, Hangar Deck, Shuttlecraft Bay, Shuttlecraft Deck, Launch Bay or Landing Bay, the Shuttlebay is the location where shuttles are launched, received, stored, and maintained. There are five shuttles on board. | ||
| Recreational Lounge | Recreational Lounge is used by all members of the crew as an areas to enjoy games, read books, and engage in other activities when off-duty. | ||
| Officers' Lounge | Recreational area reserved for officers that tends to be somewhat quieter than the recreational lounge. This room is also used for official functions such as receptions and dinners. | ||
